For working bands

The band book,
on every stand.

Charts, setlists and rehearsals for the whole band — on every phone, tablet and laptop. In any key. Even with no signal.

Performance mode on an iPad: a chord chart for When the Saints Go Marching In, fitted to the screen in two columns, with the set position and the next song at the bottom.

One chart, and everyone reads the same one. Fix a chord once and the whole band has it tonight — with every earlier version kept.

Charts

Chords right where
you sing them.

Every song is a clean chord chart, every section written out in full. Move it to any key with a tap — chords and notation move together — and set the text as big as your eyes need.

A song page: When the Saints Go Marching In in F, with key and text-size controls, the horn line written out as notation, and chords in amber over the lyrics.

Chord diagrams

Tap a chord.
See how it’s played.

Every chord opens its notes on a keyboard and a fingering for guitar, with other voicings a swipe away. The sub who learned the set this morning will love you.

On a phone, a B-flat chord opened over the chart: its notes highlighted on a keyboard and a barre-chord fingering.

Written-out parts

The horn line, right there
in the chart.

Riffs and horn lines fold away, so the chart stays easy to read on stage. Open one while you’re learning it: notation for horns and keys, tab for guitar and bass.

Performance mode

Perform.

Open the setlist, press Perform, and the whole gig is on your stand: chart only, in the set’s keys, with the singer’s note on top.

A setlist on a phone: Riverside Park, Sunday at 2 PM, two sets with start times, a break, and each song’s key and note.

The whole band

Everything a band
talks about in the group chat.

Your own cues

Notes, a photo of a few bars, or notation, pinned anywhere on a chart. Only you see them; the band’s chart doesn’t change.

Cue mode on a phone: personal notes pinned to the chart with buttons to add a cue at any section.

Every version, kept

Anyone in the band can fix a chart. History shows who changed what, line by line, and puts an old version back.

A song’s history: a list of versions with who saved each, and a marked-up comparison between two.

Rehearsals everyone can make

Everyone marks the days they can’t. Bandstand finds the ones that work and names who hasn’t answered.

The rehearsals page: the next rehearsal with its place and time, and the next days everyone can make.

The whole book, in your pocket

Find any song by title, singer or writer. Gig-ready ones get a green dot; Learning shows the ones you’re still working up.

The song list on a phone, with search and filters, each song’s writer and lead singer.

Vote songs in

Propose a song; when enough of the band votes for it, it joins the book to learn.

Song proposals with each one’s votes and a Vote button.

Told when it changes

Install it on your home screen and get a notification when someone edits a chart, a setlist or a rehearsal.

On the home screen

Add it to an iPhone, iPad or Android home screen and it opens full screen, like any other app.
